The logo mark represents the explosive nature of GBEF's mission and is as flexible as the brand needs it to be. The mark symbolizes a sudden burst of light that happens when we call for help or bring attention to something we cannot ignore. This burst also reflects gradual expansion — of ideas, of perspectives, of action.
The Helvetica typeface is democratic and utilitarian, while the tight leading and kerning denote unity, urgency, and impact. Paired with the hyper-focused color palette of piercing yellow and active black, the brand identity highlights the immediate issues at hand and a new path forward.
